The Clúster MAV sponsors public-private projects which fast-track innovation and growth for its partner businesses. These projects are run across numerous areas including the circular economy, internationalisation, new business opportunities, nanotechnology and nanomaterials, advanced manufacturing and lightweight materials.
As a result of the projects undertaken and promoted by the MAV, partners can update the state of the art and cutting-edge breakthroughs in materials and their technologies, meet specific training needs, unlock using new materials in vertical sectors (both domestically and internationally), and forge successful and lasting collaborations with MAV ecosystem stakeholders.
The Clúster MAV is currently playing an active role in European projects alongside other industrial clusters in a number of EU countries to enhance the use of new materials with advanced functionalities internationally and help European businesses to bring their products to new market niches. It is also collaborating in domestic projects by building win-win synergies between businesses and stakeholders to make the industry more competitive.
Alongside projects backed by public funding, the MAV also drives private projects implemented by cluster partners so as to deliver a quick and effective response to specific market and societal challenges and needs.
