The meeting brought together companies, technology centers and representatives of various sectors with the aim of advancing new models of industrial symbiosis and promoting circular projects based on polymeric materials.

The process will make it possible to efficiently target the 1.9 million euros in direct aid to SMEs provided for within the project, ensuring that they are allocated to solutions with real impact and direct applicability.

SINTEC will contribute to reducing waste and emissions, with an initial estimate of a 6% reduction in the carbon footprint, equivalent to nearly 1,200 tonnes of CO₂ per year.

The day was held at the Tarragona Fair and Congress Center under the theme "The era of hybridization".
