The REVIA project focused part of the project presentation session organized by the MAV Cluster on December 17, to share the project's goals, challenges and innovative approach in the field of the second life of batteries.
The presentation was given by Marc Vizern, Business Unit Manager of Thinex Rotimpres, one of the companies participating in the project consortium. During his speech, Vizern explained the origin of the REVIA project, the industrial challenges to which it responds and the main lines of innovation that are being developed collaboratively.
REVIA is a subsidized project within the framework of the Innovative Business Groups Program (AEI) 2025, of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, and aims to promote solutions oriented towards sustainability, circularity and digitization in the field of second-life batteries for light electric vehicles.
During the session, special emphasis was placed on the three main pillars of the project:
Vizern also highlighted the added value of collaboration between technological clusters and SMEs, as well as the key role of the AEI program to reduce risks and accelerate ambitious innovation projects but aligned with industrial reality.
The REVIA project consortium is formed by the CIAC - Cluster of the Automotive Industry of Catalonia, the Digital Cluster of Catalonia, the Spanish Plastics Center (CEP) and the MAV Cluster, together with the companies MillorBattery (demonstrator company), Thinex Rotimpres, Leartiker, Cadtech and Inèdit.
With this session, the MAV Cluster reaffirms its commitment to the dissemination of high-impact collaborative projects, which contribute to the development of advanced materials, the transition towards a more sustainable industry and the strengthening of the Catalan industrial ecosystem.
In Clúster MAV we work hard to offer a differentiated value proposition to our partners in accordance with our values: commitment, excellence, collaboration, involvement, quality and trust.
