The European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA) has renewed the MAV Cluster's bronze quality seal - the Cluster Excellence Initiative Bronze Label -, which endorses the cluster's commitment, effort and interest in achieving excellence in its management.

The seal recognizes the professional management of the cluster and will be valid until the year 2025. The labeling system includes as novelties the recognition of increased transparency, the efficiency and strengthening of the European dimension of cluster labeling.

The European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECEI), which was driven by the European Commission in 2009, has developed methodologies and tools to support cluster organizations to improve their capacities and management capabilities. The 13 project partners have cluster management quality indicators and have developed a quality labeling system based on three seals.

This scheme of benchmarking and labeling is widely used in numerous countries. To date, more than 1,100 cluster organizations from 45 countries have been awarded the bronze label, around 130 with the silver label and more than 100 with the gold label. Today, both cluster managers and policy makers recognize the three ECEI quality seals as a credible "international standard for cluster management".

< img class="fr-dib" src="https://media.timtul.com/media/web_clustermav/uploads/images/BRONZE%20Label_20230209111910.png" style="width: 777px;">The MAV Cluster, created on 2015 thanks to the impetus of the Generalitat de Catalunya through ACCIÓ, the Competitiveness Agency of Empresa Catalana, is also part of the Catalonia Clusters Program and has been recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR) and the General Directorate of Industry and SMEs with the seal of 'Agrupació Empresarial Innovadora (AEI), a accreditation that recognizes the innovative and collaborative nature of the entity.
