First technical visit of the 2025-2026 Printed Electronics course at the Leitat technology center

Clúster Mav,

The 2025-2026 Printed Electronics course kicked off the technical visits program on Tuesday, November 18, with a session at the headquarters of the Leitat technology center in Terrassa. This is the first of a total of six planned visits, aimed at getting to know first-hand key infrastructures and capabilities for the development of this emerging technology.

During the afternoon, the participants were able to visit several specialized laboratories that are involved in the entire value chain of printed electronics, among which stand out:

The visit allowed the students to understand how interdisciplinary processes—from the design of materials and formulations to manufacturing, characterization and validation—are essential to advance new printed electronics projects and promote their industrial application.

From the MAV Cluster we want to thank the active participation of all the students and, especially, the availability and involvement of the Leitat team, represented by Llorenç Bautista, Ana María Escobar, Javier Palmer, Mònica Della, Aina Cabrer Palomés and Sisco Cecilia Morillo.

With this first session, the course begins a training journey that will combine technical knowledge, real experiences of innovation and direct contact with reference agents in the sector.
