The MAV cluster offers companies a subsidized training offer within the framework of the Polrec Training call, with the aim of promoting training in polymer recycling, circular economy and business sustainability. This call offers SMEs the possibility of receiving up to € 2,920 of funding to train their teams on key topics for the future of the sector.

We present some of the courses that can be subsidized within the framework of the call, which is open to any type of training offer that has to do with polymers recycling and reduction of plastic waste:

Modality: face-to-face (Barcelona, Palau Macaya). CONTENT: Practical training to learn how to calculate the carbon footprint and develop business decarbonization plans. Objective: familiarize with environmental metrics and acquire knowledge to implement string and circular economy strategies.

Modality: Virtual (live video conferencing). The course also addresses current legislation and R&D projects for the valorization of plastics out of use. Objective: classifying the different types of plastics, knowing recycling technologies and understanding the current legal framework.

Modality: Virtual (live video conferencing). CONTENT: Introduction to the concept of ecodesign and its practical applications. The course includes methodologies for the environmental improvement of products and tools for the analysis of the life cycle. Objective: Learn to integrate the eco -design in business strategies and to know tools for the differentiation of products through green marketing.

Modality: Virtual (video conferencing). CONTENT: Overall vision of polymers' recycling in the context of the circular economy, with a special emphasis on mechanical, chemical recycling techniques and energy recovery. Objective: Know the present and future of recycling of recycling Polymers in Europe and Spain, as well as the applications of recycled materials.
