Do you know Industrial Doctorates? They are an initiative of the Generalitat de Catalunya with the aim of promoting collaboration between the academic world and the business fabric through research projects jointly developed between a university and a company or institution. Opting for this model allows doctoral students to carry out their doctoral thesis in an applied environment, favoring the transfer of knowledge and the competitiveness of the productive sector. With the aim of informing about the new call and sharing successful experiences, from the UAB Research Park we are organizing this webinar aimed at research staff and companies interested in participating in the program. The session will be attended by Jordi Alba, technical director of the Industrial Doctorate Plan of the Generalitat de Catalunya, who will present the details of the 2026 call. Beatriz Farrús, director of the UAB Doctorate School, will also take part, who will explain the institutional support offered by the university. In addition, real success stories will be presented. In short: it will be a perfect opportunity to get to know up close how to promote doctoral projects with impact and practical guidance.
