Within the framework of the Polish project, the members organized a collective economic mission in Quebec from February 3 to 6, 2025 on the recycling of polymer waste with 9 participating companies and 2 clusters, Centimfe and Polymeris.

Canada, the sixth world plastics producer, has been identified as a promising market, especially the province of Quebec, which represents 70% of Canadian plastics companies, 31% of rubber industry companies and 23% of companies in the compound industry.

To explore the economic development opportunities of plastic and rubber companies, Polymeris organizes with the support of Polrec partners a webinar on May 7 from 15:00 to 16.30 h CET to report on the Polish mission. European and Canadian speakers will share their comments on the mission and give an overview of the plastics and rubber ecosystem in the Quebec and the opportunities for collaboration of active European and Canadian SMEs in the field of polymers and polymers recycling.
