Intercluster conference organized within the framework of the SINTEC project: Intersectoral synergies for the circular economy designed to encourage collaboration between companies and entities from different sectors with the aim of promoting joint projects in the field of sustainability and the circular economy of polymeric materials. The session is organized by the promoters of the project: Tèxtils.cat, Clúster MAV, Packaging Clúster and CREC, with the support of the Catalan Waste Agency and ACCIÓ.

Specifically, this session will focus on studying the circularity of waste from the technical textile industry, especially those with a high polymer load, to explore its reuse in new materials for the packaging sector. It is an intersectoral collaboration between four clusters to maximize the efficiency of resources and generate innovative models of industrial symbiosis.

The event seeks to create a meeting space to share experiences, identify common challenges and generate new opportunities for collaborative innovation. Through a co-creation session, participants will be able to exchange knowledge, detect synergies and promote initiatives that contribute to a more efficient and responsible economy with resources.

This workshop is part of a work itinerary of the SINTEC project that began on May 15, 2025, where shared challenges and common needs were identified among the participating companies. Now, we are moving forward with Workshop 1, which will be continued in a Workshop 2 on February 11, 2026 and will culminate in a final conference on April 29, 2026, where the conclusions and identified opportunities will be presented.
